1-year CT Technologist experience, Relevant Equipment.
Education:
A valid license as a radiologic technologist, nuclear medicine technologist or in radiation therapy issued by the NYSDOH and post primary certification in computed tomography issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
BLS preferred.

Injections Certificate - RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) - CT Certification Your Role With Us:
As the CT Tech, you will participate in various assigned tasks related to Imaging technology.
Performing diagnostic quality procedures in a safe manner following guidelines set by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Computerized Tomography.
Core Functions:
Uses factors to obtain diagnostic quality images consistently while minimizing radiation exposure to patient.
Documents exam for each case.
Thorough exam documentation is produced on a consistent basis and includes pertinent patient history including signs, symptoms, onset and duration.
Operates Imaging equipment.
Performs proper care and cleaning of equipment.
Observes and reports equipment malfunctions.
Utilizes the information system.
Inputs procedure requests and changes in the Hospital Information System to input procedure requests and charges.
Operates the Hospital PACS System.
Keeps procedure rooms and work areas neat and well stocked.
